Mary Tolbert graduated from Queen’s University in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a double major in English and Spanish. She received her master’s degree in counseling and psychology from Georgia State University and later taught both English and Spanish and was a counselor in local high schools. She has worked in some capacity with her husband Dr. Hallman throughout their marriage. She has attended numerous continuing education courses from the Hinman Dental Society, the Georgia Dental Association and the Atlanta Dental Study Group, among others.
She is the loving mother of two daughters, two fantastic sons-in-law and four young grandchildren. Mary Tolbert enjoys her book club, DAR, her Sunday school class at Peachtree Presbyterian, entertaining and her philanthropy work with The Sandy Springs Society. She especially enjoys teaching reading with the literary program of The Salvation Army. She also attends a weekly music appreciation course at Symphony Hall.
Mary Tolbert enjoys getting to know the patients, and her caring nature will continue to add warmth to our family practice for many years to come.
Jacque is a Georgia native and lives in downtown Roswell with her son Mason, her daughters Jordan and Ryann and her Pekingese Rocco. After working in the mortgage industry for several years, she decided to pursue her passion of helping people which led her into the dental field.
She loves being a mother and spending time with her family. She enjoys running, hiking, kickboxing, her church and serving in her community.
Jacque’s beautiful smile and warm, friendly personality make her a vital part of our team. Some people find dental offices overwhelming, but our patients comment frequently that Jacque makes everyone feel comfortable and relaxed and goes out of her way to help them.
Lauren was born in Brockport, New York. She moved to Georgia and finished high school at Milton in Alpharetta. Lauren always admired her aunt who was a dental assistant, so it was no surprise when she made the decision to continue her education by graduating from The Atlanta College of Medical and Dental Assistants. Not only is Lauren a certified expanded duty dental assistant, but she is certified in CPR as well as digital x-rays.
She lives in Tucker with her two furry children, dachshunds Abby and Roxy. Lauren enjoys spending time with her many friends as well as hiking, golf and her bowling league. She particularly enjoys hiking up Stone Mountain and visits to Florida. Lauren has been Dr. Hallman’s assistant for many years since she graduated from dental assisting school, and she brings a tremendous background of experience, warm patient care and knowledge to our practice.
Kathy was born in Kokomo, Indiana. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in business at Ball State
University, she moved to Detroit, Michigan and began her career at NCR Corporation. Kathy, her husband and two daughters moved to the Atlanta area in 1994. After working in Corporate America for many years, Kathy decided to follow her passion for helping others and she decided to pursue a second degree in Dental Hygiene. She graduated in 2013 from Georgia Highlands College with honors in the Dental Hygiene Program.
When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, son-in-law, her beautiful granddaughter and her two dogs. Kathy enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and loves playing with fire in her glass studio, making Iampwork glass beads for jewelry designers. Kathy absolutely loves every aspect of being a Dental Hygienist. Providing outstanding patient care is her number one priority and loves making each patient feel welcome in the practice.
Christina grew up in the metro Atlanta area, and loves living in the city. She took a break from city living to venture to Rome, GA to attend dental hygiene school at Georgia Highlands College. She takes great pride in providing the most thorough and up to date dental care while also treating her patients with care and compassion. She stays up date in all aspects oft e dental field through her commitment to continued education courses throughout the year.
When Christina is not at work, she loves trying out new restaurants in Atlanta and volunteering at the Fulton county animal shelter. She is also a big Atlanta Braves fan, and during baseball season she can often be found at Turner Field. Christina feels very fortunate to be a part of a great team at Buckhead Piedmont Dental where patient care is her number one priority.
